What is your commitment to sustainability?
Our commitment is endorsed by the ISO 14000 certification of the environment and we are aware that we must contribute our grain of sand to society and the environment to prevent our containers from being polluting and producing contamination.
How did you meet Evaporalia?
Our approach to Evaporalia comes because we wanted to achieve two goals. On the one hand, in a plastic transformation plant, high temperatures are produced and, especially in this area of Valencia, with the last heat waves, the temperatures that have been reached have been quite high. On the other hand, we wanted to achieve an improvement in the air qualities that exist in the plant.
What have you got?
What we have achieved is that the electricity and water consumption are perfectly acceptable with respect to what we were previously doing. We managed to lower the temperature around 5C – 6C with which we achieved an improvement in the working conditions of our colleagues in the plant. We have also verified that the incidences of electrical failures have been reduced by having a lower temperature. These failures occur less frequently.
Do you have contracted equipment maintenance?
With regard to the maintenance of the installation with a pre-season revision, we can ensure that the equipment is operating at full capacity during the months of maximum heat in the area.
Are the workers happy with our software?
When they notice that temperatures begin to rise, they are the first to ask for maintenance to start up the equipment.
